Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover will be tasked to search for signs of past microbial life on Mars, this is so scientists can characterize Mar’s climate and geology. It has also been tasked with collecting rock and dust samples for analysis back on Earth, to help with future human exploration. Mission launch will be at location; Space Launch Complex 41 at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 9:15 a.m. EDT July 20th, 2020. Landing is scheduled at Mar’s Jezero Crater February, 18th, 2021.
